What do you have for breakfast?
Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day so I have two breakfast every day 🙂 The first one I have two slices of brown toast with a poached egg, some low fat cream cheese and a handful of blueberries, all flushed down nicely with an almond milk cappuccino (yes I got a coffee machine so I actually prepare a proper cappuccino) this all happens around 6am every day.
For second breakfast – around 10-11am – I have a smoothie with raw vanilla protein, 2 portions of fruits (mango & banana or berries), 2 greens (spinach, babe kale or avocado), plus chia seeds and flaxseeds all blended in coconut water.
So by midday I already had my 5 portions of fruits & vegs
What is your guilty pleasure?
Buying books! In both electronic and hardcopy versions. I usually read a third or half into the book then I get bored and then I buy more books (please notice plural, I never just buy one book) before I even finish reading any in full. I now have enough books to last a life time- especially if I continue reading at this rate…. :-/
Sugar obviously is another guilty pleasure….
Why the fitness industry?
Well, it all started when my mum got me a job as receptionist in a health club in Brazil (a real case where you can blame on the parent!) Since then I started training, loved the gym atmosphere, decided to do my BA in Sports Management and my MA in HR/Organization Behaviour in order to understand how I could contribute to making a business out of something so great like exercising.
16 years into it and I still adore teaching group fitness classes, supporting teams grow and seeing the positive impact exercising can have in someone’s life. I find my job very gratifying.
